Brush Lettering for Greeting Cards!

This is a GIRLS' NIGHT OUT on a WEDNESDAY! And by request- it's GUYS' NIGHT TOO.

This class is great for beginners and those who took our first workshop alike. We'll 'brush up' on the fundamentals, get plenty of practice in, and try some new letter styles if you're ready for the next step. Then we'll put those letters to work on a design of your own — this time on a set of greeting cards. Your sign-up comes with two brush pens and four greeting cards. Go at your own pace - complete one beautiful card and take the rest home for another day or work out a whole set.

About the instructor: Kate Austin is an artist, creative advocate, mother of four, co-founder of The Arts District of Glens Falls and owner of Advokate, LLC. Advokate is a Glens Falls-based design, marketing and communications firm celebrating 15 years in business. She leads branding and marketing presentations throughout the Capital District, has participated for over a decade in the Tooning In Gallery at Adirondack Theatre Festival, and is excited to be getting back to her roots with this hands-on art class outside of a computer screen, which is where she spends most of her time.
