Sewing for a Cause: Project Linus Community Info Night

Join us at Creative Jam for a free community information and interest gathering as we explore launching a new monthly volunteer tradition benefiting Project Linus.

Project Linus provides handmade blankets to children ages 0–18 who are seriously ill, experiencing trauma, or otherwise in need of comfort. Learn more at:

At this gathering, you’ll meet JoAnne Marcario, our local Project Linus Chapter Coordinator, learn more about how Project Linus works, hear where the blankets go, and find out how you or your group might get involved.

This is not a sewing class, and no sewing experience is needed.

There are many ways to participate, including:

  • Sewing blankets or quilt pieces
  • Tying fleece blankets
  • Helping with layout and preparation
  • Donating materials
  • Participating as part of a school, scout, youth group, honor society, or other service project

We especially welcome individuals and groups looking for meaningful volunteer or service opportunities.

Come learn more, ask questions, and see whether this is something you’d like to be part of.

No commitment required. No sewing experience required.
