Introduction to Munay-Ki: A Five-Week Energy & Reflection Circle

Wednesday, July 22, 2026 - 6:00 PM EDT

Munay-Ki: A Five-Week Introduction to the Rites of Love and Power

Wednesdays July 22-August 19 6pm

Join Karie of MonkeyBee Reiki for a five-week introduction to Munay-Ki, a spiritual practice centered on love, personal transformation, energetic awareness, and connection.

Munay-Ki is often described as a series of nine rites inspired by Andean wisdom traditions. In this beginner-friendly series, participants will explore the Munay-Ki rites through instruction, guided meditation, breathwork, drumming, journeying, reflection, and ceremony.

Each session will offer space for learning, self-reflection, and personal spiritual practice. Participants will be invited to connect with their own intuition, explore tools for energetic awareness, and consider how inner healing and personal growth can ripple outward into daily life and community.

The series will include a ceremony following instruction in each session, with a closing celebration during the final week.

Karie received her Munay-Ki rites in 2022 and again in 2025. She was given permission to share these rites by traditional Peruvian Shaman Eduardo Chura Apaza.

No prior experience is needed. Participants are encouraged to come with an open heart, curiosity, and respect for the traditions and teachings that have inspired this work.

This is a spiritual and reflective experience and is not a substitute for medical, mental health, or therapeutic care.

Drum Creation and Meditation Workshop

Sunday, August 2, 2026 - 2:30 PM EDT

Drum Creation & Meditation Workshop

Sunday, August 2, 2:30 pm

Immediately following the Open Drumming Circle

Step into an experience that blends creativity, intention, and rhythm in this deeply immersive drum-making workshop.

Across cultures and throughout history, drums have been used for connection—connection to self, to community, and to something greater. In this hands-on class, you’ll create your own frame drum using sustainably and ethically sourced materials, then explore the calming, grounding power of rhythm through guided meditation and gentle drumming.

Each participant will craft a one-of-a-kind drum that reflects their own energy and intention. You’ll also receive a rhythm mallet and travel stand, so your drum is ready to be used long after the class ends.

This experience includes:

  • Guided meditation to center and connect
  • Insight into the cultural and historical significance of drumming
  • Step-by-step instruction to create your own frame drum
  • Group drumming to explore rhythm and relaxation

Drumming is known to help quiet the mind, regulate the nervous system, and create a sense of balance between body and spirit. Whether you’re here for the creative process, the meditative experience, or something you can’t quite name yet—you’re welcome.

This workshop is also the beginning of something new at The Creative Jam.

We’ll soon be introducing a recurring community drum circle, and this is your opportunity to create a drum that’s truly your own—something you can bring back, play, and grow with over time. There’s something powerful about not just participating… but showing up with an instrument you created yourself. Imagine sitting in a circle, surrounded by others, each of you playing a drum you made with your own hands.

Led by Karie of MonkeyBee Reiki, this workshop offers a supportive and meaningful space to create something truly personal.

++Participants choose to begin their experience with the Sound Bath at 11am, carrying that grounded, relaxed energy into the creative process.++

Limited spots available due to materials and hands-on instruction.

AUGUST Mystic Makers- Healing Sound Bath and Meaningful Craft

Thursday, August 13, 2026 - 6:30 PM EDT

Mystic Makers: A Sound Bath & Creative Ritual Series

Step into a slower rhythm.

Mystic Makers is a monthly evening of rest, reflection, and gentle creation at The Creative Jam, aligned with the energy of the moon. Most months, we gather under the New Moon—a time for intention, beginnings, and quiet inward listening. In March, we’ll meet under the Full Moon, embracing illumination, release, and a little extra magic while Amy is away.

Each Mystic Makers evening includes:

  • a deeply grounding sound bath, designed to help your nervous system soften and settle
  • a small, meaningful creative project—simple, intentional, and accessible to everyone (no “art skills” required)
  • space to reflect, reset, and carry something tangible home that holds the energy of the night

These are not classes in the traditional sense. There’s nothing to finish perfectly, nothing to perform, and nothing to share unless you want to. The creative element is offered as a quiet ritual—something to do with your hands while your mind rests and your intentions take shape.

Whether you come seeking clarity, calm, grounding, or simply a pause from the noise of everyday life, Mystic Makers invites you to slow down, tune in, and make a little magic—one moon at a time.
